Safety&security film has an outstanding anti-shattering function which is essential performance for standard films with the safety purpose. Zeofilms safety&security film provides an enhanced degree of safety by holding broken glass together in the event of glass breakage. Moreover, our film improves the strength of glass with its high capability of resistance to external stimulation.
Features
Protect people and properties in the event of natural disasters such as earthquake and storm
Increases safety and security
Tough hard coating
Smooth replacement no residual glue
Excellent heat and UV rejection
Easy to tint
Description
Safety and Security Window Glass Films are high-performance multi-layer polyester films designed to reinforce glass, reduce injury risk, and improve forced-entry resistance. Once applied to existing glass surfaces, the film acts as a protective barrier that helps hold shattered glass fragments together upon impact, significantly improving safety for occupants and property.
Unlike standard tint films focused on solar control, safety and security films are engineered primarily for impact resistance, shatter containment, and structural reinforcement of glass systems.
They are widely used in commercial buildings, residential properties, retail stores, schools, transport systems, and high-security facilities.
Safety and security window films are adhesive-backed polyester films applied to glass surfaces to improve impact resistance and fragment retention.
When glass breaks:
The film holds shattered fragments together
Reduces risk of injury from flying glass
Helps maintain window integrity longer after impact
They do not necessarily prevent glass from breaking, but they significantly reduce the hazards associated with broken glass.
